studio memberships

Create and unwind at Community Mud. Our pottery studio membership offers a haven for self-discovery where you are equipped to work at your own pace, explore techniques independently, and learn from other potters. Embrace the mindfulness in the process, and create unique pieces you'll cherish for years to come.

*Prior pottery experience is required to start a membership. Please check out our class offerings if you’re a beginner or would like a skills refresh. 

  • • Up to ten (10) studio hours per month (no rollover).

    • 24/7 access to the studio via a smart phone app or key fob (aside from scheduled class times)

    • bisque firing included

    • glaze firing: $0.06 per cubic inch

    • access to all equipment, including:
    - eight wheels
    - six hand-building stations
    - wall-mounted extruder
    - slab roller
    - wedging tables
    - various textures, molds, shapers, trimming accessories, brushes, and more

    • shared shelf space (for work in progress only, not tools or clay storage)

    • glaze range of almost 50 dip glazes, plus brush-on glaze and underglaze

    • exclusive workshops and events

  • • Up to twenty-four (24) studio hours per month (no rollover).

    • 24/7 access to the studio via a smart phone app or key fob (aside from scheduled class times)

    • bisque firing included

    • glaze firing: $0.05 per cubic inch

    • access to all equipment, including:
    - eight wheels
    - six hand-building stations
    - wall-mounted extruder
    - slab roller
    - wedging tables
    - various textures, molds, shapers, trimming accessories, brushes, and more

    • personal shelf plus shared space for work in progress overflow

    • glaze range of almost 50 dip glazes, plus brush-on glaze and underglaze

FAQ

  • Non-studio clay and glazes require written approval and a test pieces prior to use.

    *Luster is highly toxic and never allowed to be applied or fired in the studio for the safety of staff, members, and students.

  • Currently, we do not limit the number of pieces per member per month. Please keep in mind that we are a small studio and cannot accommodate volume production; we are better suited to hobbyists at this time.

  • Schedule are available in the Kiln Fire member portal for reference at all times.

  • No guests are permitted at this time. We may add a guest pass in the future. If you would like to bring someone to the studio, we recommend treating them to a Pottery Night.

  • Not at this time.

  • Memberships are available to individuals over 18.
